2. About these terms
These Website Terms of Use explain how you may use this website. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please stop using the website.
These terms apply only to use of the website. They do not govern any medical consultation, clinical assessment or treatment. Separate information, consent documentation and any applicable clinical or commercial terms will be provided at the appropriate stage.
Using this website or submitting a consultation request does not, by itself, create a doctor–patient relationship.
3. General information, not medical advice
The content on this website is provided for general information about Dr Shelleh Aesthetics and the services offered. It is not medical advice and should not be used for self-diagnosis, to make treatment decisions or as a substitute for an appropriate professional consultation.
Treatment suitability, risks, expected outcomes and alternatives depend on individual circumstances and can only be considered through an appropriate consultation and clinical assessment. No treatment or particular outcome is guaranteed.
This website is not an emergency or urgent-care service. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 999. For urgent medical advice that is not an emergency, use NHS 111 or contact an appropriate healthcare professional.
4. Consultation requests
The consultation form allows you to request contact about a possible consultation. Submitting the form:
- does not confirm or reserve an appointment;
- does not guarantee that a consultation or treatment will be offered; and
- does not mean that any treatment is suitable for you.
Any appointment is subject to separate confirmation. Any treatment is subject to an appropriate medical consultation, assessment of suitability and informed consent.
The consultation-request service is intended for people aged 18 or over. Do not submit a treatment request for anyone under 18.
You must provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Do not use the form for emergencies or include more medical or other sensitive information than is reasonably necessary for an initial request.
We handle information submitted through the form as explained in our Privacy Notice.
5. Acceptable use
You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- misuse the website or its consultation form;
- knowingly introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful material;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected system;
- interfere with the website’s operation or security; or
- use the website to send unlawful, threatening, abusive or misleading material.
We may take reasonable steps to prevent or respond to misuse, including restricting access where technically and legally appropriate.
6. Website content and availability
We take reasonable care when preparing and maintaining the website. However, information may change, and we do not promise that every item will always be complete, current or free from error.
We may update, suspend or withdraw any part of the website where reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or free from technical problems.
7. External links
This website may contain links to websites or services operated by other organisations. These links are provided for convenience and do not necessarily represent an endorsement.
We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their availability, content or privacy practices. You should review the terms and privacy information that apply to any third-party service you choose to use.
8. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the content and design of this website belong to Dr Shelleh Aesthetics or are used with the permission of the relevant rights holder. They are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws.
You may view the website and print or save reasonable extracts for your personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder.
9. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal information.
Our Cookie Policy explains the storage and access technologies used on this website and how you can manage your preferences.
10. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Nothing in these terms limits any professional duty of care arising from a medical consultation or treatment.
If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure or of our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable.
We are not responsible for loss caused by relying on general website content instead of obtaining appropriate professional advice, except where the law does not allow that responsibility to be excluded.
If you use this website for commercial or business purposes, we are not responsible for business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or anticipated savings, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, our services or applicable requirements. The date at the top of this page shows when the current version was last updated. Changes apply from the date the updated terms are published and do not apply retrospectively.
12. If part of these terms is invalid
If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute or claim arising from use of this website are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you retain any mandatory rights available to you and may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live. Otherwise, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction.
